Apidias Lakkos is one of the smallest settlements on the Gera gulf, tucked among olive groves on the inland side away from the water. It has no beach and no real centre for visitors, which is exactly its appeal for travellers who want to see how the gulf’s olive economy actually works away from any waterfront: narrow farm roads, drystone terracing and groves that have been worked by the same families for generations.
