Mesotopos — “middle place” — sits between the volcanic western interior and the coast. A traditional stone village positioned halfway between the inland plateau and the sea, with the small harbour of Tavari accessible below.

Stone character, olive-grove roads, connections west toward Sigri. How long: 1–2 hours. Best combined with: Tavari (harbour below), Antissa, Eresos, Sigri. Best for: Slow travel, volcanic landscape, western Lesvos drives.
