Melinda Beach
Melinda is the most atmospheric beach in the Plomari area — a small cove with dramatic rock formations, exceptionally clear deep water and a taverna that has earned its position.

What to See and Do in Melinda Beach
The road from Plomari is around 7 km but slow — narrow with passing places on the final approach. The beach is shingle and flat rock, with water that deepens quickly from the shore. Water shoes are useful. The taverna (Psaros Melinda) serves grilled fish from local boats alongside ouzo. Open seasonally — verify before visiting.
See the Beaches guide for Melinda’s full context among the island’s cove beaches.
How long: 2–4 hours (swim + lunch). Best combined with: Plomari ouzo meze, Trygonas, Plagia. Best for: Beach lovers, swimmers, couples, food lovers, photographers.
