Visiting Antissa

Antissa sits in the volcanic western landscape near Ypsilou Monastery. The ancient city of Antissa, destroyed in antiquity, lent its name to this settlement. Stone houses, a traditional square and the volcanic hills connecting it to Eresos, Sigri and the Petrified Forest area.
